HELLO, I'M YEKTA.
I'm Yekta Porsuk, an architecture student at Yaşar University and an emerging designer based in İzmir.
Alongside my studies, I've gained hands-on experience through internships and by co-founding AZY Group, which keeps me close to how buildings are actually made. My work spans multiple scales — from urban environments and architecture to interiors and furniture.
DESIGNING BEYOND BOUNDARIES
Every project starts with research: understanding the site, its context, and the people who will use it. From there, I develop ideas through sketches, physical models, and digital iterations, testing options rather than settling on the first answer.
I aim for clear, buildable solutions that respond to their context, and I treat visual storytelling as part of the design itself — a way to communicate ideas as clearly as possible.

I enjoy wandering through cities and paying attention to the small details of everyday life — the corners, materials, and moments that usually go unnoticed. Now and then I take photos along the way.
I'm also curious about technology and digital tools, and I like trying new ways to model and visualize ideas.
Outside of architecture, tennis and music are two important parts of my life.
Tennis brings movement, discipline, and competition into my life, while DJing allows me to explore rhythm, creativity, and different forms of musical expression.
Both are personal interests that bring balance and new perspectives to my life beyond architecture.
